        Yesss. You have my +1 on this one. Maybe changing the description to explicitly cite the keyboard.

        In MonoDevelop it only works with the mouse, not with the keyboard, which kills 90% of its usefulness

        Doesn't this already work? At least in my 2.8 I can select rectangular regions and edit them...)
